The polity in the Eastern Jin Dynasty is that the gentry group that have powerful social influence and the weak royal ruler that only have spirit charisma are interdependent on each other. With the change of historical conditions, the feudal polity entered into a new phase of development in the Southern Dynasty,a new phase of polity that various kinds of interest groups such as the gentry group passed from the Eastern Jin Dynasty that still reserved some influence in society and the interest group of the underprivileged people whose status were arose during the dynastic change period, etc, cooperated with each other under the rule of the emperor.Due to the different historical conditions as well as the different chances initiating dynastic change in the Southern Dynasty, each generation of the dynasty depended on different military groups, and formed different political development logics. Therefore, this thesis will make the replacement of the Song Dynasty by Xiao Daocheng as the breakthrough point, with the political situation development as the study object, and try to conclude the development logic of this historical periodThe supporting power of the replacement of the Song Dynasty by Xiao Daocheng and the regime of Xiao and Qi is Qing Xu interest group which arose at the end of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. After conquering the Southern Yan Dynasty,Liu Yu started to permeate his power into the Jiang Zuo regime(the regime in the south of the lower reaches of the Chang Jiang River). His power was suppressed in the early period of Liu Song regime because it was started late and had to confront many complex situations.During the period of the struggle for imperial power in the beginning of the Tai Shi era,the Qing Xu interest group entered into the Liu Song polity. However, the misjudgement of the emperor Song Ming led to the lose of the Huai Bei area directly. It lost it's home again and had to move to another place again as well. But as one of the most powerful military groups,it's members gathered together after the immigration to the Huai Nan area and made Xiao Daocheng who rose for his military achievements, basically benefited from the internal struggle of the Liu Song ruling group that provided great opportunities for the development of his military power and the rose of his political status, their collaborator and the rise of him.Xiao Daocheng supported the Ming emperor in the struggle for imperial power at the end of the Song Dynasty, fought in San Wu area,Huai Bei area and Jiang Zhou area, and got the chance to guard the Huai Yin area for his outstanding military abilities. He gathered the Qing Xu interest group members wandering there and accumulated his strong military power,so as to achieve the great success. In the seventh year of the Tai Shi era,he moved to Jian Kang and gradually established his position in the Liu Song regime after suppressed two political riots launched by Liu Xiufan and Liu Jiangsu separately. The strong power he developed in the court caused the disturbance of Shen Youzhi, header of the Jing Zhou area, and Yuan Can,a loyal officer to the emperor.Shen Youzhi wanted to grab power from Xiao Daocheng while Yuan Can wanted to reestablish the authority of the Liu Song royal family. At the first year of the Sheng Ming era,Xiao Daocheng took the ruling power from the fatuous emperor and established his regime with his military advantage, which sharpened the conflicts between Shen Youzhi and Yuan Can and led to their wrestles of power.Based on his abundant military and political power as well as his advantage in the Liu Song regime,Xiao Daocheng earned the initiative and eliminated all the obstacles on the way of imperial power. The replacement of the Song Dynasty by Xiao Daocheng reduced the long existed gap between the noble gentry class and other classes to some extent, but this limited change was not enough to change the abnormal social condition of that time.
