Tongzhitangjingjie is a large-scale Confucian series of classics edited by Nalan Xingde and Xu Qianxue, including140 species,1860 volumes. Most of them were beautifully printed and were the rare versions of the Song dynasty and Yuan dynasty. sikuquanshu, which was monitored by emperor Qianlong and preserved a lot of important ancient books, was the largest extant series of classics by the government. This dissertation is to justify which version is better through comparing the contents of tongzhitangjingjie to sikuquanshu about chunq iuwritings during the Southern Song dynasty, thus deepening academic’s understanding of the value of its literature. At the same time, through comparing the differences, the evolution of the cultural policy and in what extent has the early Qing dynasty put the cultural policy into practice can be clearly noticed.Except introductio and conclusion, This article consists of four chapters:The introduction part talks about the meaning and purpose of selecting the subject. Meanwhile, it also reviews the previous related researches, thereby stating the significance of this dissertation and the research methods.Chapter I, Chapter I summarizes of tongzhitangjing jie’s and sikuquanshu’s editing. It aims to know the two books’written history background by clarifying the editing process of the two series books.Chapter II, Find out the differences between tongzhitangjingjie and sikuquanshu on the content of chunqiu writings during the Southern Song dynasty. With five chunqiu writings during the Southern Song dynasty in tongzhitangjingjie as original copy, comparing with their counterpart in sikuquanshu, list the differences between the two versions of the text in detail.Chapter III, Analyses the differences between tongzhitangjingjie and sikuquanshu on the content of chunqiu writings. Comparing three versions of chunqiu writings during the Southern Song dynasty, find the differences and list them.Chapter IV, The reasons of the differences between tongzhitangjingjie and sikuquanshu on the content of chunqiu writings during the southern song dynasty. Combined with the evolution of the cultural policy of the early Qing Dynasty and other circumstances, analyses the causes of the differences.Conclusion. Summarizing the opinion of the full text.
