Body is the cultural picture of the present era, a great variety of body viewshave contributed toa temporary clamour, drawing a widely public attention. However, people have ignored the Marxist dimension of the "body". This thesis is based on the body view of Terry Eagleton, the famous British Marxist literary theorist, who aims at attracting people's attention to the Marxist dimension of the "body". From learning, the author finds that the reason why Eagleton's body view is so unique in the western body discourse is that he learned from the Marx, which means that he has inherited the Marxist body view.At the same time he also absorbed Benjamin's body view, forming his own body view:rebuilding everything on the basis of the body. The paper consists of four parts:Body is an important dimension of Marxist aesthetics. The first part focuses on the core idea of Marx's body view: Marx emphasized the practicality of the body, advocating to liberate the workers' alienated body in capitalist society by the communist movement. At the same time, it must be pointed out that the "body" in Marx's study is realistic and concrete, and that the material exists in certain social relations of production, which is the alienated labor body of the workers in the capitalist society. The second part is the interpretation for Benjamin's body view.Unlike Marx,Benjamin's consideration about the body has transformed from the body in capitalist real life to the ideological body of the text fable. "Body" rarely comes from the real public directly, but mainly from literature, history, theology and other cultural texts, and it has turned out to be the ideological criticism. At the same time, the body revolution, as his imagination about the collective body of communism emphasized, isthe reconstruction of the body's subjectivity, rather than the practicality of the body emphasized by Marx. The third part and the fourth part mainly elaborate on the Eagleton's reconstruction by the body under the influence of Marx and Benjamin. In the process of the body's reconstruction, Eagleton absorbed the revolutionary of Benjamin's collective body of communism and the practicality in Marx's body view, and thus truly established the body's dominant position in the reconstruction project. However, due to the influence of Benjamin's ideological body's fable, the reconstruction of the body is no longer the material object that exists inreal life, but turned to the conscious and spiritual field. In 20th century of 80s and 90s, the reconstruction of the body is mainly in aesthetic. The reconstruction in aesthetic opened up the reconstruction in other fields. The fourth part mainly discusses that Eagleton continues his reconstruction of the body under the lasting impact of Marx and Benjamin, from the end of the 20th century to the present in 21st century, and that is a great idea which to communicate from the aesthetics, ethics, politics and other fields on the basis of the body. Eagleton's criticism of postmodernism body illusion in the cultural field, and the excavation of the ethical body and the theological body are the composition of the reconstruction project.
