Based on the mural of Mogao Grottoes,this paper endeavours to have a research into the lectures on Chinese culture.It launches the elaboration from four aspects.First,it deals with the overview of cultural curriculum design.Second,it discusses the content to be involved in the lectures on Chinese culture.It is supposed to include music and dance images,national music courses,Avalokiteshvara and Guanyin culture,and the story of the three murals.Third,it offers a specific and practical teaching disign to the point,which attaches great importance to flexible teaching methods and the interaction between teachers and students in class in order that students can learn Chinese culture with great interest and deep expectation.Fourth,it makes a teaching reflection.It analyzes the results of the interview survey and questionnaire survey for the students who have participated in the very program,and reveals that this teaching design and practice can satisfy the students to a large degree,but at the same time,it still has a long way to go.Finally,this paper comes to the conclusion that specific cultural points can be centered on to carry out a series of lectures on Chinese culture for foreign students,and that this very approach can effectively stimulate foreign students'interest in learning Chinese and deepen their understanding of Chinese culture.
