This thesis is a report on interpretation practice.Taking OVOP seminars interpretation as case,this thesis carries out an analysis on consecutive analysis errors from the perspective of error analysis theory.The purpose of this thesis is to find out the main errors in interpretation task and their causes.The result shows that the most frequent interpreting errors are expression errors and information errors.The main causes of interpreting errors are insufficient linguistic competence and extra-linguistic competence.Concerning the result of errors analysis,suggestions are given to the interpreting learners to improve their interpreting competence.This thesis includes four parts.The first chapter introduces the background and characteristics of the interpretation task and writer's preparation work.Second chapter is case analysis.The errors in writer's interpreting are analyzed from the perspective of error analysis theory.The definition,gravity,category and causes of errors are also presented in the second chapter.The third chapter gives causes for errors and suggestions for correction.Last chapter is conclusion.Based on analysis of writer's interpretation practice,this thesis hopes to illustrate the procedure and significance of error analysis in quality assessment.
