A Study On Dubuffet's Painting And Thinking

In 20th century,“Native art” is one of the important trends of art,Dubuffet is pioneer in “native art”.My paper mainly includes Dubuffet's lifetime,Dubuffet's exploration on “native art” and development of “native art”.In my paper,Dubuffet's status is established once again in art and cultural history.Besides,my paper discusses the relationship between “native art” and Chinese traditional art spirit.Finally,my paper displays the enlightenment of “native art” on the development of Modern painting art.The development of art is a reflection of human-spirit's progress.For artists,if they hope that the development of art is towards a sustainable and healthy direction,they must earnestly explore the development of human origin and the origin of art.Thus,it is necessary to research the “native art”.Dubuffet's “ nationalism” is the resistance to the development of social civilization and the negative factors of human being in the world after the second world war.His thought brings positive effect on the development of western modern and contemporary painting,which enriches the understanding of color,form and aesthetic feeling,and widens the creative vision of artists.Dubuffet devots his whole life to the exploration and study of “the original art”,and puts the artistic spirit into practice and achieved great artistic achievements.His theory and practice not only make “native art” have an important position in the history of art,but also puts it in the historical context of the present which making it more valuable.Because of the exchange of western art and Chinese traditional culture,it is necessary to explore the Dubuffet's “native art” and art practice and comparison with China traditional literati painting.The proposition of “nationalism”,which is put forward by the Dubuffet,lies in the pursuit of the mysterious connection between art and human mind and exploration of the origin of art.In addition,through the analysis of the concept of the original art,the author gets the similarities with the Chinese classical aesthetic spirit.In Chinese classical aesthetics both in terms of "Taoism" and "Confucianism","Zen" pursuit,or from the "express","Lyric" and "freehand" advocating speaking,are based on the "true" inner pursuit.This can be seen in “native art”.Although the Dubuffet is western art masters,its primary is the core of the ideological connotation of classical aesthetics,which China has the same song with wonderful to a certain extent.The exchange of artistic ideas is without borders.This paper will discuss and expound the development of art and artistic achievements of the artist Dubuffet,and intends to look for common point between Chinese classical aesthetics and Dubuffet's aesthetic ideas,through the contrast to the academic discussion and argument.Dubuffet's art idea is to understand the connotation of the "true" pursuit to resonate.The paper emphasizes the important of “art of nature”.Finally,the paper leads to the development of painting art stage and effect of Dubuffet's primordialism on the art.
