The art creation of Jean Dubuffet showed spontaneous impulse and anti-cultural tendency from the beginning, and it also became the ideological basis for his discovery of art brut.Dubuffet was inspired by art brut, which had its own special expression logic hidden in the confusing forms.Dubuffet put the irrationality as a supplement to the rationality, and hoped the art can express the inner world more directly. At the same time,Dubuffet learned the vagueness feature from art brut, and emphasized the basic perception way,in which subjective and objective world could interact together. He tried to let human sense return to the undifferentiated chaotic state, and showed the inner language of the world by his fuzzy and wandering works. In the choice of material and the process of creation,Dubuffet emphasized the effect of chance,he used the automatic creation method, and combined the form with the formless,so that his work could be an entrance of the inner world for the viewers, and provided more perception and exploration space for the artist and viewers.Coucou Bazar can be considered as a summary work of Dubuffet,so this paper takes it as an example, analyzes the overall concept and the form characteristics of the work, tries to explain that Dubuffet created a flowing spiritual space and reproduced the perception process by breaking through the daily experience and the various constraints brought by rationality. Finally,he led the viewers to re-explore the self-consciousness in the process of reading the works.
