Views On Both The Meaning And Usage Of Nenggou (??) And Keyi (??)

nenggou (??)and keyzi(??)are often used in Chinese language. Obviously,it is easy for the native language is Chinese people to distinguished use these two words in daily life. However, for overseas students, it is much harder to differentiate one word from another. Thus, this situation puts forward new requirement for the research of semantics and language application between nenggou (??)and keyi (??).There are many meanings in nenggou (??) and keyi ( ?? ), and it is a common case that overseas students will make mistakes of various kinds while learning Chinese. Positive transfer function of mother language should be fully used in Chinese teaching. Moreover,reducing the effect of negative transfer in Chinese learning is able to help foreign students get better understanding of Chinese words. It is suggested that educators can make a comparison within two words such as nenggou (?? ) VS can in English and keyi ( ??)VS may in English. Besides, distinguishing the meaning and use between nenggou (??)and keyi (??)could help overseas students to master these two words more accurately.What's more,the grammar research between nenggou (??) and keyi ( ??) has a great impact on teaching Chinese to overseas students.
