Analyses Of Making And Use Of PowerPoint Presentations In Chinese Comprehensive Courses At Burapha University

PowerPoint is a powerful application, and is steadily gaining popularity in classroom teaching, but there are some problems connected with making and use of the presentations, the focus of this thesis is on the theory and the meaning of the principles. This paper is a study of making and use of PowerPoint presentations at Thai universities, taking Burapha University comprehensive Chinese course as an example. The study was conducted by means of a survey: "Making and use of PowerPoint presentation in Chinese comprehensive course". The aim was to better understand current state of making and use PowerPoint presentations, as well as present suggestions and ideas.This paper introduces the reasons for choosing the topic, the purpose of this study, research status and research methods. It introduces the theory of making and applying PowerPoint presentations, including the introduction of PowerPoint and the principles of making PowerPoint presentations, as well as evaluation of standards of making PowerPoint presentations. The paper introduces the current state of making and use of PowerPoint presentations in Chinese comprehensive courses at Thai universities, including the current situation at Burapha University. It points out the problems existing in making and use of PowerPoint presentations in Chinese comprehensive courses at Thai universities. In the end it summarizes the research results of this paper and its shortcomings.
