With the advent of the era of mass culture,consumption has broken through the traditional economic significance,has become a representation of the contemporary cultural phenomenon,which can not be separated from the growing prosperity of the role of the electronic media.By virtue of its universality,timeliness and equality,the electronic media has eliminated the limitation of the traditional media in space and time,and has become a powerful tool for transmitting information and carrying the culture.While in varieties of electronic media,TV plays the role of contemporary storytellers.The long history of the historical scene and the wonderful reconstruction of the contradiction of reality make it become the vane of social culture,which reflects the public's aesthetic psychology and consumer demand.Therefore,in order to grasp the development of the contemporary culture and to feel the rhythm of the mass,it is very necessary for us to make an overall examination of TV series in the cultural context on the spirit of openness and wide range of literature.The family ethics play is the most vigorous one in the domestic TV play type.It is mainly based on the broad social background,the family members of the interpersonal interaction and emotional entanglements to reflect the social ethics and morality as the main content.Based on consumer culture has been saturated in everyday life,and constantly meets the emotional and cultural needs of the masses,in this paper,the family ethics drama,which is closely related to people's life,is chosen as the research object.Through the analysis and discussion of its theory we can have a comprehensive and objective understanding of its status and significance in contemporary culture.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into four chapters.The introduction part briefly describes the reasons for writing,and summarizes the existing research results of family ethics drama.In addition,the research methods and research significance of this paper are also summarized.The first chapter clarifies the concept of consumer culture and family ethics drama.First of all,the introduction of the concept of consumer culture lays the theoretical foundation for the following writing,pointing out the close relationship between consumer culture and mass media in the consumer society.Secondly,reviews the definition and development of family ethics drama,the development of family ethics drama is divided into three stages,it is pointed out that different cultural positions left in the family ethics drama performance object mark.Finally,this paper expounds the interaction of consumer culture and the family ethics play a symbiotic relationship.The second chapter mainly analyzes the narrative strategies of family ethics drama in order to expose the manipulation and infiltration of the consumer culture to the family ethics drama.This chapter is divided into three sections,focusing on using related principles of narratology to make the theoretical reflection with the family ethics drama.The first section starts from the theme of “change” and “ constant”,pointing out that the family ethics play in the selection of the times and the emotional core of the delicate constant.The second section starts from three types of common conflicts as the intergenerational conflict,the marriage ethical conflict and the sibling conflict and points out the diversification and stationarity tendency in the conflict set.The third section will focus on the characterization,select the birth of the new generation in the consumption trend of the new character types,such as “fashion independent women”“little man” “the third party”.These images are different from the traditional,highly consumer characteristics,is to meet the aesthetic desire of the public “code”.The study of these characters can make a dialectical analysis of the characterization of the characters in the popular culture and the position of the elite on the position of the plane.The third chapter is based on the audience,using the reception aesthetics and Stuart's “code decoding” theory from the perspective of the audience to analyze the public acceptance of family ethics drama.This chapter from the audience and the audience and aesthetic and consumption in two aspects,each argument will be audience's aesthetic expectations and aesthetic psychological changes and embodied in the concept of drama in the process of consumer behavior theory and examples,to help us understand the film creation and acceptance of two-way construction process.The fourth chapter summarizes the consumption of family ethics drama.This chapter is divided into three sections,namely,the family ethics play in the market and capital collusion,the symbolic consumption of the family ethics drama,and the family ethics play in the context of consumer culture.This part mainly uses the Frankfurt school “culture industry” theory and consumption theory focuses on the analysis of the family ethics play in the TV culture industry system in the public property and the essence of consumption,pointed out that the production of commercial value in the family ethics drama production,an important role played in the propagation process.The conclusion part carries on the dialectical analysis to the family ethics play in the contemporary society.On the one hand,as a mass cultural product under the control of the capital,the family ethical play has its own drawbacks in the process of production and dissemination;But on the other hand,the emotional appeal and artistic appeal of the family ethics plays a valuable role in the transformation of China's public life model.
