In Dec.2,1923, the Chinese Youth Party (CYP) was founded in Pairs, France.Primarily, CYP hoped to arouse the Chinese masses' patriotism to defend our motherland by propagating nationalism. Secondly, CYP wished people of all strata like students, workers, peasants and solider resist traitor and foreign aggression which is a revolutionary way to carry out a real democratic republic. Based on Zengqi's point which college students had displaced the literati class as the nucleus of the society,CYP consider the students as the great revolutionary power in the process of creating democratic country.CYP wished the students reserve practical knowledge in revolutionary spirit for the establishment of intermediate group which not only organize and train the masses to join in the national salvation movement before revolution ,but also supervise the government and guide the people participate in democratic politics after the success of revolution. In September 1924,the three leaders of the CYP returned from France to China, planning to win the college students belief in nationalism by education and publicly within 3 years and then organize activities. In order to practice this principle, the leaders of CYP taken Xingshi weekly as they engaged in education industries actively. Their efforts got the response of many students from Shanghai, Wuchang, Beijing,Chengdu.Around the May Thirtieth movement, a lot of student associations believing in nationalism were established ,whose members' gathering was mainly affected by geographical relationship and whose core members not only joined the CYP, but also launched into politics. The forces of nationalism were rapidly expanding in propaganda.CYP were also actively seeking the establishment of student organizational power and the development of activities, whose result was the establishment of the China Nationalist Youth League and the China Nationalist Consortium. In addition, the CYP leaded the anti-Russian for the purpose of protecting the overseas. These all prompted the CYP's force in students .In 1920s the Communist Party of China was undoubtedly the most intense competitor with the CYP in the leadership of students movement. The two were more similar in the organization system of the students. But their difference was reflected in the student group's qualitative in the revolution and the way of movement. The two also competed to carry out the debate on the text and occurrence of the collision in reality. After the Northern Expedition, because suppressed by military and political forces, CYP had to seek a policy transition and its influence in the students community also had gradually subsided. The Fate of CYP in student movement in 1920s is a process of"force" to constantly overcome "reason".
