Theory Of The Inheritance And Innovation Of Purple Sand Clay Art In Design

This article reviewed the history and the status of Mansheng Teapot in the history of the Purple Sand Clay Art,and analyzes its historical position and significance with several other historical peaks.In this article,I've introduced the shapes and the inscriptions of the eighteen selected and classic Mansheng Teapots.On the basis of the my own understanding,I analyzed the there characteristics of Mansheng Teapot.About the inheritance and innovation of Mansheng Teapot,I mainly manifested it in three aspects.Firstly,the evolution and innovation in terms of shapes,with the two examples of Jinglan Pot and Shipiao Pot.Secondly,as to the inheritance and innovation of the pot inscription,there were two directions,on the one hand,the literates participate in the design and inscription of teapot like Mansheng,on the other hand,the teapot makers are all-round developed,and they can do the design and inscription work by themselves.Thirdly,the inheritance and innovation of production mode,under the market economy,we should pay more attention to collaboration,combination,to build a strong brand with high quality guarantee.In the last part of this article,I introduced the experiences and lessons I get in the process of making the Mansheng Teapots and listed the references which are helpful in the process of writing this paper.
