Personality education rise in 1920s in the United States. In a new era of talent competition, the formation of healthy personality comes to be an educational goal of many countries.Childhood stage is a critical period of cultivating healthy personality. At present, the studies of cultivating personality mainly focus on the temperament, parenting, social relations(teacher expectations, peer acceptance),social's culture factors and how to consider these effects. But perceived social support has not been considered by the researchers. For the important role of the peer relationship in the development of children's personality is becoming more and more prominent, the perceived social support as an individual's view to social relationship is related to the development of individual personality, and considering the findings and shortcomings of the existing research,we try to start from perceived social support and peer acceptance to consider the influence of the two factors on the development of preschoolers' personality.A total of 161 children in a kindergarten in Xiamen City were selected as the subjects. The teachers were asked to complete the "Personality Development Assessment Form for Children".The perceived social support questionnaire was interviewed to children by the researcher, and the peer nomination method was used to obtain peer acceptance data.Through descriptive statistics,T test, variance analysis, correlation and regression analysis, and analyzing the text data,we found that:(1)For children's personality, intelligent features' difference is biggest in individual, while extraversion is the minimum. There were differences in grade but no differences in gender.(2)For perceived social support, children mostly feel more perceived social support. There were no gender differences or grade differences, but the perceived friend's support has difference in grade; The perceived family support is greater than the support of friends or teachers.(3)Peer acceptance has no gender difference and no grade difference,The first reason for peer acceptance is the frequency of interaction(playing together).Benefit, class rules, individual qualities are also accepted as a companion selection criteria.(4)Perceived social support and peer acceptance are related to children's personality, and the two factors have a direct positive impact on personality.(5)Perceived social support is not a mediator variable when the peer acceptance has an impact on childhood personality. The results of the study suggest that, for cultivating children's personality,we should create a loving environment for children, especially in the family; We also need to encourage children to communicate with others, and guide the peers to love each other.
