The Study On Construction Of Rural Cultural Auditorium

At present,the construction of rural public cultural services in our country is laggard.Farmers lack spiritual and cultural life,and rural cultural construction has already become a short plank of socialist cultural construction.Rural cultural auditorium construction launched by Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Provincial Government is a bold and innovative attempt for improving rural cultural life.It is considerably important for developing and expanding traditional culture,and also enriching the spiritual and cultural life of villagers.Based on Pingyang County as a case study it has been investigated in this thesis that the cultural achievements which Zhejiang provincial government reached the problems it faced and measurements it adopted in the process of constructing rural cultural auditorium.The results of this study willprovide references for the government to construct the better cultural auditorium.Firstly,the background,purpose,and significance of rural cultural auditorium construction was introduced in this thesis.Pingyang County will be taken as an example by introducing the present situation,achievements and the characteristics of Pingyang rural cultural auditorium.After that,this thesis will analyze the existing problems occurred when constructing Pingyang rural cultural auditorium.Such problems reflected in a low participation rate of villagers for activities organized by governments;cultural activities do not meet the expectations of farmers;the resources of cultural auditorium is leaving unused;The government's guidance,management and utilization of the cultural auditorium has been in great trouble;the function of the cultural auditorium that The government hopes has not been well implemented;and etc..Next,the thesis is going to find sources that caused these problems,These sources include,mismatch between functional orientations of the cultural auditorium and villagers' expectations;difficulty in guaranteeing construction capital and operation capital;low innovation of cultural activities and low enthusiasm of villagers;imperfection of assessment mechanism;failing to change the thought “thinking highly of economy while looking down on culture”;existing the behavior of “paying attention to construction while ignoring management”;shortage of talents for rural culture management;and etc..Finally,this thesis will provide some solutions and suggestions in terms of making sure the functional orientations of rural cultural auditorium as the spiritual home for villagers,strengthening the physical and software construction of rural cultural auditorium,respectively.
