Learning Strategy plays a very important role in Language Learning.This study is aimed to investigate the usage of language strategies of Turkish mandarin learners via questionnaire.The majority of the respondents are middle school students and university students.Based on the statistics analysis and contrast,this study concludes the differences of Turkish mandarin learners in using the language learning strategies and digs the reasons behind.The individual features will influence the choice of using language learning strategies,one of the results of the analysis shows.And some individual features are analyzed in this thesis.At end of this thesis,some results and advices for Turkish mandarin teachers are given.This thesis consists of five chapters.Chapter1 introduces the process of spreading Chinese language and culture in Turkey and other places as to illustrate the significance and necessity of doing this research,as well as introduces the essential theory for this study.Chapter 2 reviews the history of learning strategies and gives a brief summary of development of the second language learning strategies,and overviews current studies on mandarin learning strategies.Chapter3 specify the details of the methods and measurement used in this research,and also introduces the respondents in this study.Chapter4 describes and analyses the statistics,figures out problems and explore some ways to resolve.Chapter5 summarizes the result of this study,according to which some advices for Turkish mandarin teachers are given.
