Actually, it can not be considered as a simpletype of film only, either in its development history, or in the value of positioningexpressed in the films. Through the development of over half century, this series offilms can display the profound cultural connotation. It has not only created the 007series of film with its unique systems, but also has grown into an independent culturalsymbol --- the leading "sequel series of films" in the film history in the world.Of course, the existed 007 series of films will not be the end of its story to date,but it is also because it has created a classic agent image successfully. The agent 007,James Bond, represents the upper ruling class in Britain and plays the role of an eliteculture to convey the mainstream cultural values of a great empire in different periodsof time of a society by means of the screen. At the different historical periods, the 007series of films have had different cultural characteristics and aesthetic styles. From thetext to the image, from the abstract to the intuitive, this image of 007 had experienceda variety of changes at various times: the change of work itself and the change ofinternal experience. Today it seems that agent 007 has grown from a simple ordinaryagent into a national independent cultural symbol.From the perspective of the development of the film history, this article mainlyfocuses on the case of 007 series of movies in its existence of half century, thehistorical value owned by the type of film, on the basis of its characters, ideology andother aspects in the expression, the narrative rhythm of the film, the aestheticelements, the theme of the connotation with the profound analysis, in the final stand inthe perspective of globalization, as well as the combination of cultural semiotics. Bystudying the oriental cultural connotation of a profound exposition contained in the007 series of films, this paper clearly figures out the specific types of pattern andinnovation existed in the 007 series of film.
