| Life and death is the pole of life,and it is the problem that all of us have to face.Throughout the ages,writers and thinkers from all over the world are constantly thinking about this eternal proposition.Chi Zijian and Yoshimoto Banana are popular women writers of contemporary Chinese and Japanese literary circles.The creation of these two writers has a common characteristic : Particularly related deaths description.Unlike other writers who are keen to write dead.They described the death is not cruel and bloody but full of warmth It Contains healing effect from death to life.Due to the history and culture,growth experience of the different,Their description is not the same.In this paper,the "death" is the starting point Using parallel research methods in comparative literature,to make a comparative study of their works.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introductory part respectively,on the Chi Zijian and Yoshimoto Banana's novels on the status quo of the study of death and elaborate the significance of this paper.The text consists of three chapters.In chapter One,I respectively analyzed their rich sense of death source.Chi Zijian's death consciousness comes from her growth experience,northeast of the customs and the impact of shamanism.In Yoshimoto Banana's childhood due to treatment of eye disease was forced to wear goggles;After World War II the Japanese people highly developed spiritual transformation;And Japan's unique culture shape the cultural concept of Yoshimoto Banana.In chapter two,I analyzed the two writers' understanding of death from the following two aspects: Death figures and ways of death and the concept of time and space in death description.This chapter discusses the concept of death in Chi Zijian and Yoshimoto Banana's novels.I chose their representative novels and startd with the text of these novels to compare their description of death.There are two main ways of death in Chi Zijian's novels: natural death and unnatural death.Through a detailed description of the death of the shadow of the world,and creating a full personality of the characters,we can reflect on the connotation of human nature,and go beyond the suffering,the pursuit of the value of life.By writing illusory space and soul of eternal life,Chi Zijian encouraged people to reflect,purify the mind,and restore the innocent human nature It also makes the novel full of romance and poetic.I analyzed the death theme described by Yoshimoto Banana from the following two aspects : The death of people around and the occult.Yoshimoto Banana thinks that the nature of death is life.Through the death of life,is more tenacious life.In the Banana literature,the death of others is often the beginning of their independence and growth.Therefore,reading her novels can get the power and comfort to face the dilemma of reality.In the third chapter,I analyzed the cure function in Chi Zijian and Yoshimoto Banana's novels.In Chi Zijian's novels,warmth can make life get reborn and tenacious vitality can go beyond death.In the understanding of Yoshimoto Banana,death is the way to make people around to grow;overcoming loneliness and personal growth can achieve new life.Through the soul,the provision of unreal space,so that the soul of the dead can communicate with the living and comfort the feelings of the living.In Chi Zijian's novels,human love and tenacity can overcome all the dilemmas,including death,in order to achieve the conquest of the death and beyond.Banana wants to show the life of the living.Life is not the opposite of death but continuation.She wants to give the reader through the works of the courage and strength of reality,so that readers can come out from the real situation.From the death of others to think about their own life can make people around the growth and independence.Banana would like to express is that if you do not know the dead do not know live.The conclusion summarizes the study and looks forward to future research topics. |
