Objective:Through literature review,this paper verifies the objective existence of the TCM syndrome theory.On the basis of theoretical research,this paper takes the "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" as an example to examine the differences in the recognition of syndrome of TCM students.Further more,this paper explores the relationship between TCM students’ recognition of syndrome and the formation of differential diagnosis thinking and also found the great significance of the recognition of syndrome to the formation of differential diagnosis thinkingMethod:1、Literature review:to conclude the cognition for “syndrome”and “symptom” and related concepts in TCM;to combine the previous reviews of TCM differential diagnose thinking and the theory of psychological to analysis of TCM syndrome process;to explore the characteristic,the laws of syndrome thinking pattern and its influence to differential diagnose thinking.2、Experimental research: in study I,a total of 300 students including graduates from 2016 Chinese medicine major and 2013 eight-year mode undergraduates were randomly selected as the subjects.The self-designed questionnaire,Questionnaire on TCM students’ cognition on symptoms community,was used as the research tool.The questionnaire was distributed,collected,sorted and analyzed to prove the objective existence of TCM syndrome and to study the recognition of syndrome of TCM students.In study II,self designed Questionnaire of symptom arrangement’s impact on TCMdifferential diagnose thinking was used to carry on a stratified random sampling survey on a total of 300 students including 150 graduates and 150 undergraduates from 2013 eight-year mode undergraduates and 2016 Chinese medicine major students.The questionnaire was distributed,collected,sorted and analyzed based on the result of study I to explore the influence of recognition of TCM syndrome to TCM students’ differential diagnose thinking.Results:1,the overall recognition of TCM students is impressive,but the significant differences are found that the score of girls is significantly higher than boys,graduate students is significantly higher than undergraduates.2,A: on the influence of syndrome representative modes to TCM differential diagnose thinking,The scores of syndrome representative modes are significantly higher B: on the analysis of gender,girls’ score is significantly higher than that of boys and the score of girls’ syndrome mode is significantly higher than that of textbook mode and random free representation mode.Conclusion: the objective existence of symptoms community is proven through the experiments and different people has different recognition towards the symptoms community.Girls to boys,graduates to undergraduates,the problem-solving characterization and learning strategies are conducive to their learning and the recognition of the symptoms community is also higher.2,the symptoms community focus more on the pathogenesis analysis,make a fine division of the complex pathogenesis and sort out the symptoms according to the pathogenesis,divide them into simple and wield symptoms community.That is of great significance to the development of TCM differential diagnose thinking and to the improvement of TCM efficiency and accuracy.
