Palace drama is a basic type of Chinese TV drama creation,the court drama "The Legend of Mi Yue" broadcasted in the end of 2015 achieved great success not only in the ratings,but also in the academic community.In this paper,I will analysis the development of the court drama,summarize the research situation of the court drama,determine the research method and significance of the "The Legend of Mi Yue",then make a comprehensive study from four aspects of research: the narrative structure,the narrative power,narrative perspective,narrative image.In the first chapter,the narrative structure of "The Legend of Mi Yue" is interpreted.By analyzing the succession,associativity and comparative structural elements in the "The Legend of Mi Yue",the paper analyzes the structural clues of the play and explores the different structural ways in which different roles of the narrative in the text,and finds out their internal structural logic,then clarifies the structural characteristics of“The Legend of Mi Yue”.The second chapter analyzes the narrative power of "The Legend of Mi Yue",and resloves the motive force of the three kinds of power modes which are the potential energy of ontology,the location potential energy and the variable potential energy.The third chapter analyzes the narrative perspective of "The Legend of Mi Yue",through inspecting the relationship between the perspective and the author,the specific use of the omniscient perspective and the limited perspective in the play and the mobility of the perspective of the role to interpretate the function and the meaning of the narrative perspective.The last chapter interprets the narrative image of "The Legend of Mi Yue",through analysing the three typical images appearing in "The Legend of Mi Yue" : the image of the jade of the HE Family,the image of panoply and the image of “Home”to conclude the performance and special features of narrative image.The choose and application of the narrative strategy determines the overall level of a art work,and the unique narrative art of “The Legend of Mi Yue” is the success of this palace drama.Those unique narrative art embodies not only in every character,every plot,but also in the overall grasp and historical direction of the deep sustenance of the director.In conclusion,I will make a detailed discussion about narrative art of the court drama "The Legend of Mi Yue" from the narrative structure,the narrative power,the narrative perspective,and the narrative image.
