Shanxi Wenxi Plastic Arts And Cultural Characteristics Of Steamed Buns

Shanxi steamed flower bun in the long history of folk art occupies an important position.Steamed flower bun art has a significant geographical feature,and carries a strong culture elements,hence reflects the beliefs from the local residents and the inheritance of history.Wenxi flour sculpture was included in the national intangible cultural heritage in 2008,has been effectively inherited and spread widely,and has now formed a complete industrial chain.Wenxi flower bun plays a key role in cultural transmission of local culture and development.Based on the research of spatial environment of steamed flower bun and cultural background of Wenxi region,this paper illustrates special sculpting features of Wenxi flower bun along with the local culture by using research methods include: field investigation,image collection,case study,and in-depth experience local culture and steamed flower bun production process.This paper is aimed to summarize the development status and strength of Wenxi flower buns hence to seek a new way to protect and future develop the folk culture of Shanxi steamed flower bun arts.The main study contents as shown below:1)to study the production process of Wenxi flower bun,and to explore the unique production techniques.2)to analyse the styles of Wenxi flower buns,and to explore the culture beliefs and auspicious ideas from local residents;and to in-depth analyse the characteristics of Wenxi flower bun modelling art,and to summarize the factors that impact the designing ideas3)to explore the regional culture of Wenxi flower bun by study the flower bun involved culture activities.To analyse the importance of inheritance by studying the shape of the bun and culture connotation.4)to summarize the methods of inheritance of Wenxi Flower Bun,and to put forward the advantages and necessity of the development of steamed buns,hence to make practical feasible measures and program for the development of Shanxi steamed bun.Wenxi Flower Bun art contains a wealth of local culture and traditional beliefs,reflecting the region's unique geographical characteristics.The formation of the concept of Flower Bun design is to understand the world and the nature,which also entrusted with the working people of the good life of the yearning and enthusiasm.Folk cultural heritage represents the regional culture,therefore,protection and transmission need to commence as soon as possible.With the strong support of the government,the development of cultural protection and transmission requires Flower Bun related industry chain,involving creating innovative projects,cultivate new talent,and choose reasonable marketing strategy.
