China has been more and more important in global economic development thanks to economic globalization,thus Chinese language in the world has been of great concern.This trend brings about new opportunities to Chinese internationalization promotion.At the same time,in the recent language teaching environment that is complex,some disadvantages of old teaching ideas in TCSL,backward teaching means and methods also have been gradually revealed,so each Chinese education workers constantly must creating new teaching means and methods by summarizing and reflecting about reflecting their work.Studies on many subjects have shown that there is a close relationship between music and language.Obvious effect can be seen in applying music to language teaching.In English teaching practice,some scholars have made attempts to adopt this way.In TCSL,the way has been used in many cases.However,there are little studies on applying Chinese songs as the main teaching method in teaching Chinese language.On the basis of relevant research and of the theory of audio-visual teaching method,the theory of multiple intelligences,learning motivation theory and teaching practice,the author of this paper illustrates the advantages of applying Chinese songs in teaching Chinese language in classroom.In addition,through investigating and studyingthe current elective courses offered in Sripatum University,researching and reflecting about the way of applying Chinese songs to Chinese language teaching in Colleges and universities in Thailand Chinese elective teaching,the author puts forward specific strategy of applying the way.Finally,through analyzing the specific teaching case,the author fully demonstrates the positive role of applying Chinese songs to Chinese language teaching in stimulatingthe students' interests in learning Chinese and in teaching Chinese pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and cultural knowledge to ensure that global teachers of internationalizing Chinese attached greater importance to enhance the students' learning interests,nurture the students' strategy of learning Chinese by way of creating new teaching means and ways.
