Development And Application Of The Management Information System Of Cultural Relics Protection Units In Baoji Based On GIS

Baoji has a large number of cultural relics protection units,and they are generally older.These units have now not exists as a spiritual wealth,their economic,social,science,technology and other fields also plays an important role.Because most of these cultural relics protection units are located in the fields area,and most of the personnel engaged in the protection of villages and towns for lack of knowledge,protection agency execution is not good or their ineffciency,resulting in protection and management of the situation,there are many difficulties and problems.After the middle of 20 th century,information technology continues to develop,and it shows its advantages in nearly all areas of management,in which GIS is widely used in archement of the cultural relics protection units provides a novel way.In this paper,after the analysis and research of the current management mechanism and working methods,the strategy for optimizing the working method is proposed.The development of management information system is studied based on Geographic Information Technology:First of all,based on the analysis and research of the management units and personnel,the demand of the management information system is analyzed: information collection,information management,office support,information publicity,put forward the functions of the system: user login,cultural heritage map browsing,information query and browsing,daily inspections,monitoring and evaluation of construction engineering protection.At the same time,because of this study in technology and interdisciplinary approaches are widely used,and the practice of all technology needs the guidance of theory.The related software technology and the reference experience are described from three aspects: software selection,GIS theory,the database design and understand the relevant techniques and methods.After the completion of the theoretical work,this paper describes the development of the system from the design principles,the development of the platform,the design of data results,the construction of the system framework and functional modules.At last,the paper illustrates the results of the system and how to carry out the operation in Qishan County,Baoji.In this paper,the research on the Development of the Management Information System of Cultural Relics Protection Units in Baoji,at the same time,have theoretical and practical significance: The collection and digital work of Cultural Relics Protection Units' information can provide data support for the protection of cultural relics in the field for the future;it can promote the use of scientific and technological means in the search for better protection of management units;and it can play an active role in improving the protection awareness and cultural self-confidence of the protection personnel and the public.
