In recent years,China is vigorously pushing “mass innovation”,which has become a new engine to drive the economic development. As an important part of innovation, management innovation has been playing a crucial role in realizing China's sustainable development. Two academic papers about management innovation from top international electronic journals were selected as translation materials. This type of academic texts falls into the category of typical information texts put forward by Peter Newmark, which focuses on the objective delivery of messages and opinions.Based on George Steiner's Fourfold Translation Motion Theory, the paper explores how the four steps, namely,“trust”,“aggression”,“embodiment” and “compensation”,guide this translation practice by analyzing some specific examples in translation and how to use different translation strategies and techniques. This paper concludes that Hermeneutics' Fourfold Translation Motion Theory can direct the translation of management texts from English to Chinese effectively, maintaining the authenticity and fluency of the original texts to conform to the reading habit of target readers.
