When foreign students learn Chinese,the sentences are often not so authentic,and they are similar to those of the text.The main reason for their expression is that they simply imitate the textbook and lack the expression of metaphor.It is easier for students to understand the commonalities of the two languages and different cultural background by using the common things of all human beings emotion as a medium,so as to have a better understanding of the Chinese kernel and to understand the emotional metaphor.On the basis of the ability to understand Chinese metaphor,foreign students could enhance their fluency of Chinese expression.The thesis discusses the working mechanism of emotional metaphor in Chinese under the theory of cognitive metaphor.It is found that emotional metaphor is composed of two parts: external mapping experience system and internal mapping experience system.It is believed that emotional metaphor can be used as a starting point to promote a better understanding of metaphor for foreign students.Secondly,it analyzes the effect of metaphorical ability on cultivating the fluency of Chinese concept,and makes a comparative analysis of English and Chinese metaphorical metaphors.It is found that emotion metaphor is common in both Chinese and English,differences stay as well.Differences are mainly composed of different cultural traditions and customs.Finally,this article also studies the use of emotional metaphor in the textbook "Experiencing Chinese".It is found that the number of emotional metaphors in the textbook is extremely lacking and the emotional category is not enough.Accordingly the thesis puts forward some advice on emotional metaphor in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.There are two main aspects: on the one hand,as for the perspective of integrated Chinese textbooks,there are needs adjusting the number of emotional metaphors in the text and category;mainly in the senior textbooks,primary as supplement.On the other hand,starting from the teaching design,promoting the concept of students metaphor is highly recommended.Teaching should be oriented to internal mapping experience system,combined with cultural teaching.
