Theravada Buddhism to Sri Lanka,Thailand,Burma and other Southeast Asian countries formed from the India local to the Theravada Buddhism system,due to the Southeast Asian area located in the south of India,the spread of Buddhism route is to the south,so people will be the Chen Zhiwei "Theravada buddhism".13,after fourteenth Century,Theravada Buddhism has gradually become the main Buddhist belief in Southeast asia,Today the Theravada Buddhism is popular in Sri Lanka,Thailand,Burma,Kampuchea,Laos and other Southeast Asian countries.Around seventh Century,Thailand introduced Theravada Buddhism via Burma Chinese Yunnan Xishuangbanna Dai area after the original religious struggle with local fusion,gradually formed its own unique China Theravada Buddhism spread characteristics,forming a unique China Theravada Buddhism,From fifteenth Century to seventeenth Century to Lincang,Pu'er,Baoshan and other regions,in the Chinese Theravada Buddhism exists only in the area of Yunnan Province,southwest and West,in the area of belief in Theravada Buddhism is mainly ethnic minorities,such as Dai,Brown,Achang,Deang,Yi and wa.Yunnan is a multi-ethnic province,a total of 25 ethnic minorities,so the harmonious coexistence between different ethnic groups has important significance for social harmony and stability in Yunnan,and the same beliefs between different ethnic groups is conducive to the promotion of Yunnan's national unity and social stability and harmony,at the same time,in the minority area,temple education will also shoulder a heavy responsibility for the inheritance and protection of minority culture.This study uses the methods of literature study and field investigation method to research the Theravada Buddhist temple education,to analyze the predicament and influential factors on monastic education faces,and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction of research background,purpose and significance of this study,related literature review;the second part is the present situation of research,influence,TheravadaBuddhism temple education of Dai society's basic situation and function are elaborated;the third part is the analysis of the influence factors of Theravada Buddhism temple education from the aspects of economy,the supply target,cultural impact;the fourth part is for the plight and influence factors facing the development of temple education of Theravada Buddhism,the temple from the management level of education,education content level,social environment and the corresponding level of thinking and suggestions.
