The Resonance Of "Nature"-Analogy Study On Sheng Congwen And Rousseau

This paper will make a comparative study on Shen Congwen and Rousseau 'common tendency in both ideology by their thought on relationship between human and nature.Through their life experience and works,there exists amazing tacit agreement in three aspects.First,they both yearn for natural beautiful scenery which is expressed by their nature complex and mass description of nature in works.Second,they both eulogize natural personality which is shown by primitive and unaffected nature and expression of true love.Third,they both criticize urban world which is presented by imbalance of relationship between human and nature and hypocritical urban civilization.Last,facing this situation,they both put forward solution on the premise of the pursuit of natural personality and freedom spirit.Shen Congwen proposes the use of literature to rebuild values further to promote progress of nation and country.While Rousseau advocates the concepts of � Social Contract� and � Natural Person� to reconstruct a new country.
