With the continuous development of the modernization, our life has undergone tremendous changes, religions, traditions and authority collapse, modernity has become an irreversible trend. In such a transitional period of social transformation, people began to focus on utilitarian and purpose, only to see their own interests regardless of the interests of others, becoming selfish, greedy, and numb, world alienation, subjectivism rises, and the rapid development of private areas eventually devoured the public field. While the decline of the public sphere brought about a series of unprecedented crises:political crisis, cultural crisis, education crisis and so on.All these crises can be called the crisis of modernity;the education crisis is the core clue of modernity crisis. In the face of the educational crisis of modernity,Arendt argued that the nature of education is naissance, and that all those who come to this world now have the possibility of creating or changing the world's development,The world's ability to bring new hope to society and tomorrow. The essence of the world is “between the past and the future, the past will never die;it will be in people's attention again as ‘the fragments of thoughts',as some ‘rich and unfamiliar things'.” Therefore, authority and tradition are the foundation of the future world, they play an important role in education, which are inseparable in past,on present and in future, they are inter-related with each other, the great power of tradition and authority is the foundation to think about the present society. Therefore,Arendt put forward the idea of civic education,“we cannot give up authority and tradition in the development of education,we need to use authority to provide the young people the competence to renew the world while we are gazing in the past great minds and thoughts”,thenfinally cultivating qualified citizens with public spirits.Educators should not shift responsibility in cultivating constructive modern citizens who are thoughtful with critical spirit. The teacher's object is children, the teacher's basic duty is to guide, teachers play an important role in introducing children from the family into the world, and so the teacher's basic orientation should be the world's representative.
