The motion of ethical spirit consists of three parts: family, civil society and country. This paper aims to study the evolution process of Hegel's family view and the aesthetic spirit implied in it amid the three ethical entities of ethical spiritual motion. In its immediacy, family is subject to ethical love.Love is in itself a kind of unity. In love, individuals discard their own independence to form a real ethical spirit bond. The integrity of family spirit is therefore established.Individuals are immersed in the integrity of family unconsciously, revealing the natural authentic beauty of individuals. In civil society, the characteristics of family are reflected in the alienation of individual consciousness represented by family men.Individuals become independent in consciousness, break away from family, and step towards civil society.Civil society safeguards the interests and ownership of individuals. As individual consciousness develops infinitely, and individuality is fully released, individual desire grows accordingly.Comfort has no limits,so does desire.Individuals are alienated, and real beauty is overshadowed. In country, family view mainly manifests in returned individual consciousness represented by family men.Country is the supreme doctrine for family and civil society. It means universal rights and interests.Alienated individual consciousness begins to return in country. There is a unity between individuality and country's universality. As individuals' self-consciousness comes to an agreement with country's public will, individuals gain true freedom,The integration of individuals with the universe contains supreme beauty.During the motion of ethical spirit,Hegel's family view contains a process of transformation from natural beauty to beauty of alienation and to beauty of return.
