Urumqi Ethnic Investigation And Study Of Rock Band

Chinese rock and its bud starting from the mid 1980 of the 20 th century,after more than 30 years of development of our country's rock,"rock fever" took place in many places in the Mainland in this process,and rock music in Urumqi began to develop roughly in the 1990 of the 20 th century,and absorbing ethnic elements,forming sharp characteristic of minority rock.In this paper,"Urumqi ethnic investigation and research of the rock band" as its theme,with introduction and deep study of rock in Urumqi,Xinjiang,is in order to sort out rock formation and development process of the minority groups in Urumqi,Xinjiang,so as to better understand rock and style characteristics of ethnic minorities.From the overall development process of the Urumqi ethnic rock band,it keeps advancing with the development of country rock.Initially,Urumqi minority rock bands,as domestic other rock bands,were from imitation of some classic and representative bands at home and abroad rock bands,later gradually attempted to absorb local minority elements,creating minority style of rock music.They put humanities feelings,culture features and history charm of all things into rock music,to makes its creation of music more reflected Urumqi minority geographical features and culture connotation.Whether it's �Puppet Band� or �Stone man Band�,representatives of minority band,or other just established minority rock bands,you can feel the natural and human environment and its unique culture in Urumqi from feeling their music and the lyrics of their music.Most of the Urumqi ethnic minority culture,because of the limitations of the cultural audience,can not get more attention.In addition,the rebellious image deeply roots in people's eyes,ethnic rock,which also determines the rock audience bound to be of ethnic minorities,so their influence is very limited.In any case,rock music as a kind of spiritual existence,will never go out and rock and roll as one of the unique local culture of ethnic minorities in Urumqi,also has its own value and status,and to develop and promote rock music of ethnic minorities needs more power to advance.This is an important issue worthy of attention and thought.
