Music Study In Rice-Farming Culture In Beijiang River Drainage

Lingnan area is one of the main rice-farming areas in the world,and rice-farming culture is an important part of culture of Lingnan.There are many rivers in this area,and each river has a style of its own.The rice-farming culture also has its own characteristics by depending on river.The rivers crisscross,giving rise to the communion of rice-farming culture.Beijiang River drainage is an important river system of rice-farming in Lingnan Area.Qingxi plain is the pearl of Beijiang River drainage.The rice-farming culture in Beijiang River drainage is influenced by the atmosphere of culture of Lingnan and develops itself by depending on river.It can meet the commonness and has its rich local characteristics at the same time.Rice-farming culture has rich connotation,which cannot be summarized in a word.This study selects the folk music form of He Long Song as the main line to investigate the change of rice-farming culture of Beijiang River drainage,from the shallower to the deeper.He Long Song is the most widely spread folk music type in rice-farming area of Lingnan.It develops itself in its spreading process by depending on the river.So,the connotation is different.He Long Song has the attribution of ritual music in Beijiang River drainage area,and has the function of recoding daily life.It also has educational significance in the process of spreading.Qingxi plain locates in the hinterland of Beijiang River drainage.Therefore,He Long Song in Qingxi plain has richer characteristics of Beijiang River drainage.This paper mainly consists of three parts and eight chapters.The first part is the chap ter one and chapter two and it overviews the research background,current research si tuation,research preparation work and the basic circumstances of the research object s.The second part is the chapter three,four and five.This part makes a deep analysis of the research objects from the ceremony characteristics,artistic forms and folk for m.The third part is chapter six,seven and eight.The content of this part is to conclud e the transition of He Long Song in Qingxi plain and its functional attributes and cult ural adsorption function.He Long Song in Qingxi plain is the representative content of rice-farming culture in Beijiang River drainage.It has obvious characteristics of ceremony music and has the attribution of recording folk.The popular performing form makes He Long Song become the most influential art form in Qingxi plain.In the process of industrialization,industrial culture gradually extruded the space of rice-farming culture.A large number of floating population poured into Beijiang River drainage area,which accelerated the cultural communion.Then the glory of He Long Song faded.By the change of attaching great importance to the economic development and culture construction,this paper regards the feature of ritual music as the hitting-point to explore the folklore and ethnology significance of He Long Song in Qingxi plain,and to make due contribution to the carrying forward and inheritance of He Long Song.
