“Shi” sentence is not only the key sentence in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,but also the important object in the study of second language grammar acquisition.On the basis of previous study,we find that the studies of the acquisition of “Shi” sentence focus on the error analysis on different language background students,and the acquisition sequence of different types of “Shi” sentence.However,fewer studies involve whether the differences of the internal semantic types of “Shi”sentence will affect the acquisition of foreign students.This paper will divide the “Shi” sentence into two types-judging and emphasizing according to the syntax function type.The judging “Shi” sentence can be divided into six semantic types,which are appropriate relations,equal relations,descriptive relations,classified relations,existent relations,and interpretative relations.The emphasizing “Shi” sentence can be divided into eight types,which are to stress agency,patient,tools,time,place,cause,object,and way.We will make experimental study of 132 questions in the form of judging right and wrong.The first experiment is to investigate the two grammatical functions of “Shi” sentence.The second experiment is to study the semantic types of the judging “Shi” sentence.The third experiment is to investigate the semantic types of the emphasizing “Shi” sentence.The experimental research of this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)There are no differences to the acquisition of two grammatical functions of judging and emphasizing of the foreign students.(2)There are differences to the acquisition of six semantic types of “Shi” sentence.The acquisition of equal relations is better,and the accuracy is higher.However,the acquisition of appropriate relations is poorer,and the acquisition time is longer.(3)There are differences to the acquisition of eight semantic types of emphasizing “Shi” sentence.For the semantic components of object and tools,the accuracy is higher,and the acquisition effect is much better.But for the semantic component of patient,the accuracy is lower,the acquisition effect is poorer,and the acquisition time is longer.(4)The Chinese level affects the acquisition of the learners,the acquisition of two grammatical functions is become better and better as the development of Chinese level.(5)Learners' acquisition of the semantic types of“Shi” sentence tends to be more perfect with the improvement of the Chinese level.Based on the above research results,we conclude that the study of “Shi”sentence provides a new perspective for the research of second language grammar acquisition,and has important guiding significance for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The study points out the feasibility of classified teaching,but we should also pay attention to the targeted teaching of important sentence patterns,to effectively improve the efficiency of foreign students' acquisition.
