Study On The Chongqing Stone Art During The Anti-japanese War

During the anti-Japanese period,served as the wartime capital of the Kuomintang government,Chongqing was the political,economical and cultural center.Meanwhile,Chongqing still has a lot of inscription,many of them are high—quality.In general,the inscription are wildly distributed,the main types includes tombstone inscription and peak carving.These inscription mainly refers to the historical event,political dedication and scholars' preface.In fact,They are not only posses a historical significance,but also evaluated as a high plastic arts.Apart from the introduction,This essay includes four chapters.Chapter one: Through the field study to acquire relevant materials and its general distribution.Then analyse the materials into a different classification,and have the basic data of the materials.Chapter two:According to the existing inscriptions,there are two types :tombstone inscription and peak carving.For the peculiar one which not belong to those forms,we can view it apart.The content of inscription mainly refers to the historical event,political dedication and scholars' preface,possessing a highly cultural and historical significance.Chapter three: The paper makes in-depth analysis on the cultural and historical significance of the chongqing inscription in wartime,while putting emphasis on the social value,literary value,and most importantly thing is to summarize the artistic value of calligraphy.In terms of social value,it encourages the great majority united as a whole country to fight against enemies.Nowadays,people still remember suffering history to keep them alert.During the wartime,Chongqing inscription have some work with strong literary.for instance,“the accident of the teachers and students of Fudan Univesity” and “Li Huanhan Gardening literature”.Regarding the artistic value of calligraphy,it not only inherits the traditional of Chinese cultural spirit,but also enriching and deepen the basic structure of the modern Chinese calligraphy to a large extent.Chapter four: Makes in-depth analysis on the different values of Chongqing inscriptions,we may really feel the special time.In this great history,people express indomitable will to defend state sovereignty and national interests.In one sense,we can gain demonstration from the aesthetic style of tablet carving.
