A Study On The Female Images In The Liuliu's Urban Emotional Drama

TV drama is an important form of television propagation,directly affects the audience's emotional model and aesthetic value.The reality TV series is a mirror of life,and the female characters in the urban emotional drama also cast out the image of women in society.As a writer who is well known by the network novel,Liuliu's TV series adapted from her works are unique in urban emotion drama since the new century.Her works are rooted in reality,linked to social hotspots,and the language is vivid,the characters are distinctive.Liuliu's six TV works("Double-sided adhesive" "Wang Gui and Anna" "Dwelling" "Heart surgery" "Baby" "The female is not strong is not big”),involving the contradiction between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law,high prices of house,doctor-patient relationship,media transformation and other social hot topic,set off a climax,causing widespread concern in society.The female image created in the Liuliu's plays not only shows a strong sense of self-reliance,but also reflects the contradiction between the universal value of marriage and the development of personality,as well as the game between the traditional and modern,urban and rural,female consciousness and patriarchal society.The urban emotional drama created by Liuliu is the object of this study.Based on the research results of women's image in the past,this paper combines the theories of communication,semiotics,narratology and psychology,and uses literature research,text analysis and comparative analysis.Analysis of the female character's personality,emotional choice,value orientation,female consciousness and other aspects,to explore the social effects of their female image.At the same time,it is necessary to reflect on the shortcomings of shaping the female image,which will play a certain role in shaping the image of women in the urban emotional drama in the future.The first chapter introduces the main contents and narrative themes of Liuliu's sixurban dramas,focusing on marriage and family life,social hot issues and women's survival and emotional situations.Women in Liuliu's urban drama,while inheriting the traditional family ethics thought,also pay attention to their independent personality and the pursuit of value,highlighting the female "subject consciousness",but also highlights the feminist ideology,for the gender construction is typical.The second chapter carries on the concrete analysis of the shaping and construction of the female image in Liuliu's urban dramas.First of all,it analyzes the symbolic representation of the female role in the workplace and the family,showing women in the workplace is positive and hard exploration,in the family is struggle and selfless dedication.Secondly,it analyzes the double "mirror image" of female characters,that is,independence and dependency,strongness and compromise,enterprising and evasion,and analyzes its roots and connotations.Finally,the female images of Liuliu's urban dramas are compared with the female images in the same type of urban dramas.On the one hand,the gender consciousness of the narrator is discussed,and on the other hand,the female images created by Liuliu and Wang Liping are contrasted,highlighting the personality and characteristics of the female images in Liuliu's plays.The third chapter analyzes the social effect of the female image in Liuliu's urban dramas,and explores from the perspective of mass culture and consumption.Women in Liuliu's drama inspired or warned from the positive and negative sides of the real life of women,causing public resonance and reflection on their own.The fourth chapter puts forward the shortcomings of Liuliu's urban dramas in shaping the female image.On the one hand,the female image tends to be "narrow" and "homogeneous",and on the other hand,it lacks a deeper expression and propaganda of feminism.It is hoped that the creation of the domestic urban drama will reflect the image of women in real life,the female mind with female consciousness,and strive to construct a harmonious society and family culture.
