In the 1990 s,The TV series "Desire" broke the narrative style of previous TV drama,set an example for urban drama in our country,and made the heroine LIU Huifang as a role model for social women at that time.Since then,a number of popular urban emotional drama have sprung up on TV screen.After the year 2000,China's urban emotional drama drive to maturity and become the mainstream of TV drama artistic creation.The new century urban drama have created endless classic professional female images,and provides a research model for our study of the images of professional women.On the one hand,the creators of new century urban drama focus on the social reality that women are more aware and enhance their professional ability.On the other hand,under the influence of consumption culture and traditional ideology,the creation of professional female images has two sides,containing inheritance an d refactoring of the traditional patriarchal culture.This phenomenon reflects the society's aesthetic to professional females: No matter how successful a career woman is,aesthetic ideals always tend to be marriage and love first,although values give affirmation to female individual career value.In the process of film creation,male group always set a rigid set of aesthetic values for professional females or create the perfect female role model just to get rid of the shadow of castration anxiety,it turn s out that males have an absolute voice on the professional female aesthetic standard.Professional value and ability of females often presents a dramatic reversal of the "compliment after early suppression",may mislead the audience's aesthetic prejudice against female values.In addition,under the influence of consumer culture logic,the new century urban drama mainly present the utopia urban elite female group images,automatically ignore the low-level ordinary working women,thus,the professional female images lack a bit of truth.As a mass cultural product,urban drama should create more independent and positive female images of all classes in order to bring a right female aesthetic standard to the public.As a female audience,we need to improve our media literacy based on reality,beware of the female bias conveyed by the media in the face of media mirror.
