Technique Of Expression And Future Developing Trend Of The Modern Narrative Display Space

The current display design technology and materials all have a saltant breakthrough,and the new display methods and designs will be appropriate for the old exhibition centers,display halls and museums.Moreover,most of the exhibition centers focus on the narrative technique of display,which spreads the information content to the audiences by the method of telling the story,including the cultural characteristics,aesthetic expression,life style and so on,because of the rapid progress of science and technology,sublimation of aesthetic concept and the constant update of communication media,the display space has more and more enrich expression methods,this paper aims at discussing the current technique of expression and the developing trend of the narrative display space.This paper takes the field survey of a lot of exhibition centers as the example,and makes a comparison of the current outstanding and classic museums,analyzes its display characteristics and personality one by one,from the starting of display planning interfered by narrative idea to the presentation of detailed matters,then to the display feedback of audiences,and the re-confirmation of narrative idea acted on the next exhibition,forms a recyclable research frame,confirms a kind of current research method of the display,discusses the expression methods and ways of the plot,scene,details,characteristics and other basic elements in the display space.In the meanwhile,from the modern technique of display to discuss the evolution and developing trend of the technique of display base on the support of multimedia development and new technology,which provides a new angle of view and new field of the thinking display for the curatorial team.in recent years,the China’s space design has a great development,the museums,exhibition centers and display halls depend on the narrative technique of display are free from the traditional display methods in a long term,but the techniques of display depend on the objects and aim at the objects still account most of the parts of the display space,it is needed to improve the development of interactive display,new media art and other aspects.Since the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center,the China’s display industry has a rapid development,the advanced display technology from abroad has a great impact on the China’s display field,so the designers start to think about the display design from the new angle,and make a reposition of the display space by new materials,new technology,new technique of display and the final effect of presentation,then finally return to the display content,which thinks about the display technique of expression from the simple three dimensional object to four dimensional space,then to the multi-dimensional space,in addition,the multimedia technology has a rapid progress,which drives the new media art develops in openness,interactivity and variety,these will have a significant impact on the display design.This paper makes an analysis and summary of the technique of expression and developing trend of the narrative display space at home and abroad by the methods of the collection of literature information,analysis and comparison,field research and survey,Consulting curators,professors guidance,conclusion and judgment,etc,makes a rational summary and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the current narrative space in China,lists the excellent cases at home and abroad,combines with the participated practical projects and inspection results to carry out the discrimination.
