This paper is based on the listening and visual psycholinguistic experiment,and takes foreign students with Elementary,medium and advanced levels of Chinese as research objects.This paper has systematically examined the role of interrogative particle,intonation,and punctuation in the recognition of interrogative sentence,and revealed foreign students' acquisition and cognition on the Chinese Yes-no questions.The conclusions are as follows:1.Listening experiment: interrogative particle and Interrogative intonation as the marker of interrogative sentenceclass can carry interrogative information,the role of interrogative particle and intonation in the recognition of interrogative sentence are different.Specifically,it is easy to be judged as interrogative sentence when both interrogative particle and intonation exist in the sentence;when there is interrogative particle in the sentence,“ma” and “ba” play a major role in the recognition of the sentence,especially “ma”;when there is no interrogative particle in the sentence,interrogative intonation is easier to be recognized as interrogative sentence than declarative intonation.The perception of interrogative particle is increasing with the improvement of Chinese proficiency,but intonation doesn't.2.Visual experiment: interrogative particle and punctuation as the marker of interrogative sentenceclass can carry interrogative information,the role of interrogative particle and punctuation in the recognition of interrogative sentence are different.Specifically,it is easy to be judged as interrogative sentence when both interrogative particle and punctuation exist in the sentence;when there is no question mark in the sentence,“ma” and “ba” play a major role in the recognition of the sentence,especially “ma”;it is easy to be recognized as interrogative sentence when there is question mark;full stop can interfere judgement;With the improvement of Chinese proficiency,the accuracy of sentence judgment is increased.Finally,based on the results,this paper has in the end gived some targeted suggestions on the textbook and the teaching strategy.
