| Taking Nieh Hualing’s novel Mulberry and Peach as the main research object,the paper aims at using intertextuality as the basic theory and research methods,to try to provide a new perspective and interpretation of space besides the traditional pattern of "national fable" criticism.On the one hand,the thesis points out that the poem,the opera,the ancient prose,the figure and many other kinds of intertextuality relations between the text will together build a “Mosaic” intertextuality structure with its basic framework of "diary/letters + other text form".On the other hand,this kind of special text constitute also participates in the novel Mulberry and Peach’s meaning generation which basing on the three levels of meaning generation,respectively,is individual issues,women’s issues,and the topic of United States.In addition,this paper also emphatically points out that during in Taiwan,the another through the mutual relationship of triple cultural identity(editor,translator and writer),indirectly accepts the literary field and literary thinking of nourishing,and potentially affects the text generation of the novel Mulberry and Peach.As it were,Nieh Hualing has consciously constructed her liberalism literature ideal through the journal of Free China and Literary Magazine.It is precisely that her creation ecology cannot be covered by the mode of "national fable" criticism.In a word,the intertextuality of texts make the novel Mulberry and Peach surpass the national political vision and become a text with multiple symbiotic value. |
