| Xiandao Dialect,alternative name Kandao,is distributed in Kandao & Meng’e Villages of Nongzhang Town,Yingjiang County,Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province,China.It is a dialectic variety of Achang language,which is of the Tibetan-Burmar family,Sino-tibetan languages.Xiandao dialect is severely endangerous.In recent years,we have been doing continuous linguictic fieldworks of Xiandao Dialect that over five thousand words,one thousand oral sentences and several hours of discourse data have been collected.Based on these firs-thand materials,this thesis makes a comprehensive description and analysis of its phonolical and lexcical system of Xiandao Dialect.We also make a basic processing and transrioption of the audio and video data,and then create a multi-media static webpage archive of Xiandao dialect.The contents of this thesis are as follows:The Introduction part firstly outlines the status of human geography of minority Achang ethnogroup,and makes a brief reviewing on previous researches of Xiandao.And then it slso describe the status of speaking Xiandao dialect in the villages in term of the latest sociolinguistic survey.In this part,we provide a supplementary prove on the conclusion that Xiandao is a dialect of Achang language instead of a paratactic language with it.In Chapter One,it makes a description of the phonological system of Xiandao Dialect,including phoneme set,syllabic system and sandhi rules.On the base of the collection of 5180 words from the recorded-and-documentationed wordlist,and extracted words from oral sentences and discourses,it makes a quantitative analysis and distribution statistics of initials,finals,tones and syllables.A complete phoneme list,combination relationship of initial-final-tones,and syllable list.Compared with previous researches,this thesis as well as has made some omissions and deficiencie of some previous books.In this chapter,we have done an acoustic experimental analysis of a special phonetic phenomenon such as rhetroflex initials.Chapter Two makes a comprehensive description of lexical system and an analysis of special lexical issues.The prehensive description contains constituton of lexicon set,word formation and word creation,sematic relation of lexicon.The study of special issues include the description and analysis of several subset of Xiandao vocabulary,such as kinship appellations,animal and plant words and place names under their meaning of cultures and knowledges.In Chaper Three,we collect and organize all documentationed and recorded data of Xiandao Dialect,and build an audio archive.It also describes the component data of endangered Xiandao Dialect archivestates,the procedure of buiding audio archive and the use of some technical software tools.Finaly,it comes to the result that a WeChat QR code image is created for linking to the Xiandao Dialect Web Archive,and the users can read the page text and listen to audio redordings by the mobile phones. |
