The Study On The Phonology Of Liufeng Dialect In Guiyang, Hunan Province

This article from the Angle of synchronic and diachronic, base on the detailed investigation, use the method of description and comparation,study the phonology of dialect in northern Guiyang county. The article is divided into seven chapters, each chapter as follows:The first chapter for the introduction section, divided four sections. Firstly introduces the GuiYang geographical location and basic constituted territory, language and dialect. And then summarizes the present situation of the research in Guiyang dialect, and determine the research object in the thesis is Liufeng dialect, The main method is adopted synchronic description and historical comparison method.The second chapter for Liufeng dialect sound system. This chapter from objective perspective describes the system of Initials/finals/tonesa and the regularity of the initials and funals. And describes the homophones vocabulary of local dialect, In the meanwhile, Also from diachronic perspective summarizes the features of the phonology.The third chapter for comparison of the Liufeng dialect and ancient phonetic system. This chapter is a comprehensive comparison for Liufeng dialect in the Historical development area, using Diachronic comparison as the main methods. The chapter is divsded three part:initials comparisons, finals comparisons, tones comparisons. initials comparisons According to ancient sequence alignment, finals comparisons According to the order of 16 rhyme lined, tones comparsons According to the four tones sound pattern arrangement. Through the contrast to portray the phonology characteristics of Liufeng dialects and historical evolution, And think that from ancient to modern,the Liufeng phonology system has been greatly simplified.The fourth chapter for dialect differentiation.
