A Study Of Mythology In Guizhou's Local Chronicles

With the further research of mythology,the focus of mythologists is mainly on the mythology of ancient literature and the mythology of ethnic minorities,and the study of mythology from the perspective of folklore and ethnology is fruitful.In recent years,the field of mythology has been continuously widened,and the study of mythology from the perspective of literature has prevailed.In spite of this,the mythical research in the local chronicles,which is a comprehensive record of the nature,society,politics,economic,culture and other aspects of a region in a given period,is relatively weak.On the basis of the local chronicles of Guizhou,this paper will extract the myths of Guizhou's local chronicles and classify them,and then discover the basic features of the mythology in Guizhou's local chronicles and its view of mythology.First of all,this article is based on Mr.Yuan Ke's definition and scope of mythology.The first chapter classifies the myths collected in Guizhou's local chronicles as the mythology of ancestors,the mythology of heroes and the mythology of nature.The mythology of ancestors includes the Panhu mythology and the Zhuwang mythology,the mythology of heroes includes the Beiyinshen mythology and the Heishen mythology.The the mythology of nature are mainly focused on the nature.Secondly,based on the classification of mythology in Guizhou's local chronicles,the second chapter further analyzes the basic characteristics of the local mythology in Guizhou from the aspects of humanistic spirit,historicalmythology and regional cultural characteristics.Finally,from the perspective of the innovation of ancient mythology,the relationship between mythology and history,and the historical and cultural connotations of totems,this paper will study the view of mythology in Guizhou's local chronicles in the period of Ming and Qing Dynasty.This paper attempts to classify the mythology of Guizhou's local chronicles,and provide a reference for regional mythology research,and contribute to the study of regional mythology.
