As the basic part of Chinese character, components bear many functions of character formation, which mainly include semantic, pronunciation and symbolic indication. The teaching profession of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language advocates Components Methods as a popular way of Chinese characters teaching. With many scholars have done a thorough study of it, such as the degree of phonetic part, orthographic awareness and distinguishing similar parts, yet, they paid less importance on the systematical study of semantic components. Most of semantic components have deformation status when forming to new characters, as well as broadly divided semantic attribution. This research has found that inflected deformations have regular patterns, by sorting out the relation between deformation and proto-components firstly. When forming characters with its semantic function, the glyphs of the components may deform. The one-character's glyphs and structure of new character, which primarily decide components-inflected deformation degree. Generally, deformation degree of semantic components is large while forming into a left-right structure, that changing small when forming into a top-bottom structure. As the spelling position correspond with allo-components, the research also found a reflected syntagmatic relation, when component composites to a new character. With the five levels of deformation degree, I developed a questionnaire by choosing true or false. It measures learner's recognition of the inflected deformation components, as well as their discrimination of component assimilation. After the feedback data were analyzed by SPSS, it has been found deformation degree is the main factor that affects recognition to learners. Recognition of native speakers is significantly higher than second language learners indeed, and the main difference between native speakers are their majors, while foreign student identity differences mainly depends on their HSK proficiency. In a conclusion, we suggests the professionals to use dynamic deformation components idea when guiding learners to master new characters, by accordance features of the Chinese characters, to the field of teaching, curriculum and research.
