Characterization Of Princess Archies And Aria Analysis In Original Musical Lou Lan

With the rapid development of Chinese musical industry,a lot of fantastic original musical production has been composed.The original musical ‘Lou Lan',planned by Xu Shuya,the dean of Shanghai Conservatory of Music,composed by Professor Zhao Guang,a famous composer in China,is a big original music show telling a romantic story based in Lon Lan.In this thesis,basic information and artistic characteristics of the play ‘Lou Lan' will be covered.The main focus will be put on analyzing the heroine Princess Archies and her arias,with elaborate examples and explanations and finally comes the conclusion.First of all in the introduction part,the purpose of the research,the current research status and then the research methods and creativeness will be illustrated.Based on the research status in studying this play,the research approach is defined.Secondly,some basic information of the production will be discussed,namely a brief introduction of the composer,background of production and the frame structure.Meanwhile,starting with three of the heroine's features,how the singer Liu Haoran voice the character,emotional expressions and performances on the stage will be analyzed and concluded.It also paves the way for further research in term of the theoretical approach.Last but not least,the main focus of this research is on how to mould the heroine Archies and the study on three essential arias.The research will approach these three arias on two aspects,that is music analysis and the artistic settlements of singing.The original music piece will be weighed and considered,and then the practical methods of combining voices and emotional feelings will be drawn as a conclusion.The conclusion part will be an overall view on this thesis,and also some creative points are raised.
