Among Chinese Traditional Paintings,the Application And Research Of Ochre Color

Ancient Chinese paintings often used red and green,Chinese painting is first called "Danqing",which shows that color plays an important role in Chinese painting works.From the ancient times to the present,Chinese painting has never been separated from the use of color.The color form and the painting mode with Chinese characteristics fully express the thought of Chinese Artists.In the application of color,ocher color has run through the entire history of Chinese painting.Therefore,the research on ocher color in depth can help discover the law of color development,and also provide theoretical basis of the use of color for Chinese painting.In consequence,it will promote the development of Chinese painting.In this paper,we mainly focus on the application of ocher color in Chinese painting.To begin with,we investigate the origin and development process of ocher in ancient painting theory and books.By analyzing the painting works with various forms,such as figure painting,landscape painting,and frescoes and so on,we study the use of color in traditional Chinese painting.On this foundation,we further analyze and study the special significance of the use of ocher from the light crimson landscape painting,blue and green landscape painting and figure painting point of view.The traditional Chinese painting is the combination of pen and ink and art.The combination of ocher and ink has the artistic effect of elegance and elegance,which conforms to the artist's aesthetic thought.At the same time,the continuous use of ocher has a close relationship with China's natural environment and national characteristics,which is the embodiment of the aesthetic view of traditional Chinese literati painters in art works compared with the western color science in the three primary colors.Having a deep understanding on the use of ocher is helpful to understand the artistic expression of the painter and inherit the unique Chinese aesthetic thought.We hope that this article has some reference value for the actual creation of Chinese painting.
