Arne Naess is a famous philosopher in Norway,who is also the founder of deep ecology.His ecological wisdom not only marks the transformation of Western Ecological Philosophy from shallow to deep,but also has a profound influence on the western environmental movement.The development of western ecological philosophy,Spinoza's ethical thought,western modern scientific theory,lay a deep foundation for Naess' s Deep Ecology;Taoism,Buddhism and wisdom,Gandhi's nonviolent and noncooperation movements have brought new discoveries and revelations to Naess' theory,and the coexistence of Eastern and Western cultures has formed the theoretical basis of Naess' deep ecology.Naess make use of the means of intuitionistic understanding to comprehend the world,his self-realization and ecocentrism equality of the two highest standards is extremely important and core theory,and eight action creeds,normative conclusions and factual assumptions constitute the Naess' ecological wisdom and theory structure,the inner relationship between which is rich and profound.Admittedly,Naess' deep ecology is highly transformative and subversive,but because of its mysterious and radical nature,it often cause the misunderstandings of anti-humanitarian and idealistic.But it is undeniable that the Naess' distinctive deep idea is influencing with the way of human's communication and lifestyle.The establishment of an equal and harmonious ecological society,which is the ultimate goal of Naess' efforts to fight.In ecological practice,Naess' proposal to establish ecological areas,non-violent cooperative attitudes and deep lifestyles all show the possibility of realizing ecological society.At the same time,it also provides more ideas and enlightenment for the construction of contemporary ecological civilization in China.
