The Research About Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks

Chinese folk art is profound,and enjoys a good reputation in the world.There is more 30 years history science the Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks were born in Shaanxi Baoji area in the 1980 s.During this period,Mashao Facial Masks have widely spread and got a long-term development.Between Baoji,which is the western end of Guanzhong,and Weinan,which is the east end of Guanzhong,there are so many Mashao Facial Masks makers and workshop.Even though,we can buy the Mashao Facial Masks in the most area of China.The Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks,which carry on the basis of ancient Shehuo art and Chiyou Mashao,have the unique shape,exaggerated line,bright colour.All of these show us the rich imagination and extraordinary wisdom of original inhabitants in Shaanxi Baoji area.In this paper,the author recorded the research results about Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.The paper is divided six parts.The first part is introduction,which introduces the research background and the status quo of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.The second part is overview about Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks,which tell us about its origin,material and production process,etc.The third part is characteristics about Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.In this part,we talk about Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks from several aspects such as the shape,color,pattern.And the characteristic of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks was summarized.The fourth part is about cultural connotation of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.In this part,we talk about the relationship of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks and Yin-Yang and Five Elements,traditional values,the traditional religion,traditional literature,traditional drama.The fifth part is about the relationship between modern design and Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.We illustrate the decoration design and landscape design example to explain the relationship between modern design concept and Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.The sixth part is the conclusion which summarized the full text.The research significance of this paper lies in two points.The first,the paper is a comprehensive summary about the artistic features of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.The second,the paper make a deep research about the cultural connotation of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.Compared with previous literatures,there was not too much involved about Shehuo arts.And there was discussion about traditional culture connotation of Guanzhong Mashao Facial Masks.
