With the international situation changing,the pattern of the world is constantly waxing and waning,the importance of national defense security in national development is become more and more obvious,the soldiers as a special member of the social group have always been the focus of writers.More and more literary creations start to shape the image of soldiers,profound analysis the survival of the soldiers' situation and mental state,to a certain extent,they also reflect the various social problems and human defects.Mo Yan is a writer with strong military complex,and he has lived in the barracks for 21 years,so,it is inevitable for him to concern about the lives and fate of soldiers,and shapes the image of soldiers.This thesis will use the solider images in Mo Yan's novels as the subject and object of the study,by exploring the type and character of the solider image to dig out the Mo Yan's deep thought of the solders images and the unique shaping method,and explores the creative causes of solider images of Mo Yan.There are all together six parts in this thesis.The preface introduces the creative situation of the solider images in Mo Yan's novels,the research status of his works,and it clarifies the research method,value and significance of the topic.The first chapter elaborates the type and character of the solider images in Mo Yan's novels.On the basis of the analysis of the text,according to the emotional attitude of Mo Yan,the image of the soldiers in his novels is divided into three categories:the beauty soldiers,the ugly soldiers and the complex soldiers,and which shows the character of the military.The second chapter discusses Mo Yan's ideological content of the image of soldiers.It mainly analyzes Mo Yan's humanitarian thinking and meditation of solider images in three aspects:First,it restores the original appearance of the military,shows the solders' spiritual world under the pressure of survival and the conflict between the strict military system and human nature.Second,which through the soldier's words and deeds to complain about the negative phenomenon and reflect the complicated human nature.Third,it through the wartime soldiers to tell us the cold ridiculous and autocratic of the war.The third chapter analyzes the unique shaping method of solider images in Mo Yan's novels.The distinctive style of Mo Yan's solider image is related to Mo Yan's innovation in language and style,as well as the attempt of shaping method,and the mainly reason is that Mo Yan uses at least two different ways of shaping other characters:the soldier image is treated as ordinary people in the social environment,and it created in the aesthetic way,etcThe fourth chapter explores the reason of the solider images in Mo Yan's novels.Mo Yan indulges in solider images creation is the result of a number of reasons,including the intrinsic motivation,for example Mo Yan's military complex and creative mentality,as well as times environment,the cultivation of People's Liberation Army art academy,the influence of western modernist literature and other external causes.To sum up,the author mainly discusses the the solider images of Mo Yan's novels in the above five parts,and hopes to make up the deficiency of the solider images in Mo Yan's novels through a relatively systematic analysis and a more complete textual interpretation.Also,the study of the Mo Yan's literary images,the study of the characters of Chinese modern and contemporary literature would benefited.
