A Study Of Liu Tianhua's Pipa Works

Liu Tianhua is a great virtuoso,composer and educator in modern Chinese history.In the dark old China,through the road of Difficulties and setbacks,to struggle for national music life,although has left us for nearly half a century,but its precious wealth left behind for generations of Chinese music workers,makes the national music has been a considerable development." Song and Dance "," improved Cao" and " xulai" are three pipa solo written by Liu Tianhua,each piece of music is very innovative,and has characteristics in structure,technique and connotation.This paper attempts to link the composer's life experience,actual performance techniques,creative intention and music aesthetics in series,and expounds the author's understanding of mr.liu's works and performance perception.
