Because of the comprehensiveness and logicality of English writing,it has become a difficult point of English teaching.Different with main emphasis on writing skills in high school English writing,it is more important for college students to focus on the writing contents and demonstrating skills.College students need to improve not only writing abilities,but content knowledge and presenting strategies of content knowledge.And critical thinking,as a kind of thinking power,has always been deemed to be related with English writing.Therefore,the author tried to study the correlation between critical thinking disposition and presenting strategies of content knowledge in English writing and took use of correlation analysis to study the mutual relation of them and then proposed some advice.In the first place,the author collected and sorted out the previous studies of critical thinking disposition and those presenting strategies,elaborated the basic concepts of them then chose and modified the questionnaires according to the sample of this study,and then came up with the hypotheses.In addition,given the goal of the study,the author took use of the correlation analysis to come out the correlation ship between them and analyzed the result of data.After that confirmed the way of building the models with the result of data and used the regression analysis to calculate it.Finally,generalized and analyzed the result of the interview and offered some corresponding teaching advice.The result of the study has shown that there is positive correlation existent between presenting strategies of content knowledge in English writing and critical thinking disposition,but there is difference among correlations between critical thinking disposition and different content knowledge strategies.After analyzed the result of regression analysis between critical thinking disposition and different content knowledge presenting strategies,it was shown that we can use regression equations to predict the developmental trend of presenting strategies which have the correlation with critical thinking disposition.With the improvement of critical thinking disposition standard,the different presenting strategies of content knowledge have shown the different trends.The results of interview have shown that some limitations and difficulties of students' usages of presenting strategies of content knowledge existed.The author proposed some suggestions from teaching methods and points for English teachers according to the conclusion of the study.
