Vocabulary isthe building materials of language that cannot do without vocabulary learning,and it is an important part of language learning.The verb is a class that can not be ignored in the vocabulary learning.Verb learning is also important in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The Data-Driven Learning(DDL)which is rare in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language is a new path of the current English learning.This study selected some students whose Chinese level above HSK four in ourschool—Xinjiang Normal University.These students were this research object.The content of the research is the verbs that blonged to Grade A or B in Intermediate Comprehensive Course One of Developing Chinese.From a new perspective,under using DDL mode,this article mainly explored the learning effect about verb to the foreign learners.In this process,the main research methods were questionnaire survey method and statistical analysis method that combined with interview method.The purpose of this research is to verify that the mode was effective,practicable and feasible in the process of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In this way can we enrich the teaching methods of Chinese as a foreign language,and provide reference and supplement to Chinese teaching.The whole article consists of five parts.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly explained the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the topic,as well as the summary of the relevant research about the verb-teaching.Besides,it included the research methods,research ideas,and research content.For example,questionnaire survey method,statistical analysis method and interview method.The second chapter introduced the use of vocabulary teaching methods.This paper explored the Data-Driven learning materials at the first place,and made a survey of the use of the vocabulary teaching methods.The third chapter is the introduction to specific learning activities combined with large corpus expansion by using the Data-Driven learning.Its guidance were the theory of constructivism,vocabulary and grammar theory and the humanistic theory.Before autonomous learning,the text introduced the design of the questionnaire including the questionnaire and questionnaire of the production of sources.Next was about the situation to the using of the mode.It included the meaning of vocabularies and the collocation about the using of vocabularies.Besides,there were feedbacks from the learners after learning,including learning achievement,analysis of problems and errors.Also it analyzed the related factors in the process.For example,learning motivation,language aptitude,learning attitude,personality of learners',learning strategies and communicative strategies,learning environment and the factor of the teacher.The fourth chapter is about the the characteristics of the model.By using this learning mode,can we find the advantages of using the ways:direct,authenticity,pertinence,and effectiveness.However,there were alsosome disadvantaes.That is to say time consuming for teacher bafore class,having higher requirements for the students and the teachers and students lacking of understanding of the model.The fifth chapter discussed the specific role of the model in teaching Chinese as a foreign language from two aspects between teachers and students.It cannot only enrich the ways of teaching and enhance teachers' consciousness of guidance,but also to cultivatestudents' autonomous learning ability and habits,to improve comprehensive quality of the learners.In this way can it confirm that this model is feasible and effective in foreign language teaching once again.That is to say it is worth learning.
