The Visual Feature Research Of Cover Design Of Lu Xun's Book

"open book" is a famous saying of ancient times,and before " open book ",the first thing of people to see is the appearance of books-cover design.China's history of books on the cover is very particular,in the Qing dynasty," the four books" seems to be the cover of modern books.Since the May 4th new culture movement broke out,the cover design of books brought a completely new revolution.Many scholars have stood in the ranks of the new culture movement,and made a new attempt to the cover design.Among the most influential proponents and supporters of innovation are Mr.Lu Xun.During the age of culture revolution and syncretism,lu xun's books cover design inherited and developed the essence of traditional Chinese calligraphy culture,and meanwhile explored and re-created the traditional culture elements of Han Danasty Portraits.These classical cover design works not only reflected the nationalization but also assilmilate the foreign culture,which are shown to all over the world.Lu Xun's classics not only played an important role in theconstruction of Chinese new culture,but still influenced the process of Chinese social modernization.Therefore,the height of the times to research and extension of Lu Xun's cover design can make it contain the great energy of space and space,to respond to the urgent problems in the cultural construction.By studying the style changes of Lu xun from the traditional book cover design to modern book cover design,it can profoundly reveal the times characteristics of modern book design,more reasonable understanding of the early book design and historical value,and the binary thinking mode of form and content,technology and function.At present,Lu xun's research in literature,thought,binding and other angles is more,mostly the individual cover of Mr.Lu as a case,and does not have a comparative systematic visual and classification of Lu Xun.By using the methods of literature analysis,comparative induction and textual research.The characteristics of the visual elements such as fonts,graphics,color,layout are analyzed and studied from the cover.This paper summarizes 114 paintings of the cover design related to Mr.Lu Xun,including 68 pictures of Lu Xun personally designed and participated.Trying to explore the design paradigm and transformation significance of contemporary book cover design from Lu Xun's excellent works and art thoughts.Hope to have a comprehensive display of Lu Xun in the cover design of the great achievements and historical significance.The number of these is not the whole of certificates,but also basically covers the " battle performance" and " serious work ",which can reflect the greatefforts of Mr.Lu Xun to inherit the traditional culture of China and to foster the new literary and artistic power.
